Why We Chose Clarity II™ for Hair Removal at HollaceMD
When we decided to bring laser hair removal to HollaceMD, we didn't want to choose a technology based on a sales presentation or a manufacturer's brochure.
We wanted to experience it ourselves.
So, before we introduced Clarity II™ to our patients, we spent a significant amount of time performing demo treatments on our own staff. We wanted real feedback from real people—and we wanted our new laser hair removal specialist to have the opportunity to put the technology through its paces.
The feedback was impressive.
Our staff members consistently commented on how fast and comfortable the treatments were, along with the noticeable hair reduction they experienced.
But we were just as interested in what our practitioner thought.
Our new laser hair removal specialist, Elina, was probably our toughest critic. After performing the treatments herself and seeing the response, she was extremely impressed with the technology and felt it could significantly improve both the patient treatment experience and the results she can deliver.
That was important to us.

So, what makes Clarity II different?
Clarity II uses two laser wavelengths—755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG.
That matters because skin and hair aren't one-size-fits-all.
Different skin tones, hair colors, hair textures and treatment areas can respond differently to laser energy. Having two wavelengths provides treatment flexibility when determining how to approach each patient.
The 755 nm Alexandrite wavelength is particularly effective for many lighter skin types and finer hair, while the 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength provides an option for treating a broader range of skin tones, including darker skin.
That versatility was one of the reasons Clarity II stood out to us.
Why does laser hair removal take a series of treatments?
This is one of the questions we hear most often.
Laser hair removal works by targeting hair follicles during the active growth phase. The problem is that your hair follicles aren't all on the same schedule. Some are actively growing while others are resting. That's why laser hair removal isn't a one-and-done treatment.
A series of treatments allows us to target more hairs as they enter the growth phase and progressively reduce unwanted hair over time.
