Clarity II™ Does More Than Hair Removal

When we introduced Clarity II™ at HollaceMD, our primary focus was laser hair removal.

And for good reason.

After working with it ourselves, we started to appreciate just how versatile the platform was. We wanted to know what the treatment actually felt like, how quickly we could treat different areas, and what kind of hair reduction we could see.

The feedback was consistently positive. One staff member commented, "That's it...you are really done. That did not hurt a bit".

Our new laser hair removal specialist was equally impressed. From a practitioner's perspective, she felt Clarity II could make a real difference in how she performs treatments and the results she is able to achieve for our patients.

But here's the part we didn't want to overlook.

Clarity II is more than a hair-removal laser.

We brought Clarity II to HollaceMD because we wanted a premium laser hair-removal platform. But we also chose this technology because of its versatility and its ability to address a range of pigment and vascular concerns.

It's much more than a hair-removal laser.

Clarity II combines two wavelengths—755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG—which gives our provider different tools for different treatment needs. The platform has indications beyond hair removal, including certain benign pigmented and vascular lesions and selected wrinkle concerns, depending on the wavelength and treatment indication. After you’ve seen your dermatologist and had your routine skin check and screening - we would love to talk about the best approach for treating these concerns.

And that's where Clarity II gets really interesting.

Pigment

Brown spots and other forms of unwanted pigmentation are some of the concerns we hear about frequently.

Clarity II can be used to treat certain benign pigmented lesions, with the appropriate wavelength and treatment parameters selected based on the individual patient and the type of pigmentation being treated.

Some of the pigment concerns Clarity II may be used to address include:

• Lentigines (age spots)

• Solar lentigines (sun spots)

• Café-au-lait macules

• Seborrheic keratoses

• Certain nevi (moles)

• Chloasma

• Other selected benign pigmented lesions

Not every brown spot needs a laser—and not every brown spot is the same.

It's about determining what you're actually looking at and whether Clarity II is the right tool for it.

That's especially important with pigmentation. A spot that looks like a simple sun spot to you may not be something we should simply laser without first evaluating it. After you’ve seen your dermatologist and had your routine skin check and screening - we would love to talk about the best approach for treating these concerns.

Our goal isn't to treat every spot we see.

It's to make sure we're treating the right spot, with the right technology, for the right reason.

Vascular concerns

Clarity II isn't just about pigment. Its 1064 nm Nd wavelength can also be used to treat certain visible vascular concerns.

Some of the vascular concerns Clarity II may be used to address include:

• Facial telangiectasia (visible broken blood vessels)

• Rosacea-related redness and vessels

• Spider veins

• Leg veins

• Venous lakes

• Certain hemangiomas

• Port-wine stains

• Other selected benign vascular lesions

The 1064 nm wavelength can reach deeper into the skin, making it particularly useful for certain vascular concerns where the blood vessels are deeper beneath the surface.

But, just like with pigmentation, not every red spot or visible blood vessel should automatically be treated with a laser.

It's important to know what we're actually looking at and determine whether Clarity II is the right tool for that particular concern.

The goal isn't to use a laser simply because we have one. It's to know when the laser is the right choice.

And this is why we like having options.
